Black History 101 Mobile Museum

IPCS will be hosting the Black History 101 Mobile Museum! This is an award-winning collection of over 7,000 original artifacts of Black memorabilia dating from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era to hip-hop culture. Founder Khalid el-Kahim has been called the "Schomburg of the Hip-Hop generation" because of his passionate commitment to carry on the rich tradition of the Black Museum Movement. The Black History 101 Mobile Museum has traveled to 28 states and over 300 institutions. NOW is your chance to see this incredible collection right here at Invictus Prep!

Plus, in honor of March as Women's History Month, the mobile museum will feature special items representing great women in history!

Students will visit the museum throughout the day, but we invite parents and community members to visit, as well!
